The human part / Pilot notebook

What do we want these conversations to be?

A first look inside a podcast still taking shape.

An imagined listening machine assembled from engraved reels, an eye, and magnetic tape.

The Human Part is a podcast in development from The Future is Yesterday. This is the notebook before the microphone: the questions we want to start with.

What changed for you, personally?

Not the industry. Not the market. You. What have you made recently that you couldn't have made before? What have you stopped doing? What surprised you about the change?

What still takes time?

A tool can compress a task without compressing the judgment around it. We want to talk about learning, trust, creative standards, and the parts of good work that resist acceleration.

What are you less certain about now?

The best conversations leave room for a changed mind. We are interested in the moments when an artist, engineer, writer, or builder discovers that their working theory needs an update.

The plan is simple: thoughtful people, room to finish a sentence, and questions that survive the next product announcement.

The pilot is not recorded yet. When there is something worth listening to, you'll find it here.

Stay curious. The rest can wait.
